What I learned
about apes
The thing that I learned about Apes was that the mama Apes look after the baby apes until they are 5. The mama Apes bite whenever a different animal come she chases it away.
Apes come in different sizes and shapes in the years.
All Apes have hairy bodies and arms that are longer than their legs.
They have long fingers and toes, and no tails. They are also very intelligent.
The mother ape teachers her baby how to find food and how to keep clean. Young apes also learn how to move safely through the forest and how to get on with others in the group.
An ape is a mammal that belongs to the same family as the monkeys. There are four kinds of apes- the gibbon, the orangutan, the chimpanzee and the gorilla.
